Dual-Sided Stadium Cards
Each card in 5TARS is dual-sided, featuring a Player NFT on one side and a Stadium NFT on the other. This unique design introduces a dynamic layer of strategy, as players must consider both aspects for optimal gameplay.
Stadium Card Features
Unique Skills: Each Stadium card is equipped with five distinct skills: Capacity, Technology, Accessibility, History, and Atmosphere. These skills are vital in the Arena as they directly influence the outcomes of matchups.
Skill Allocation Based on Rarity
There are 5 Skills: Capacity, Technology, Accessibility, History, and Atmosphere.
Common Cards: These cards have a total of 12-15 skill points, with no single skill exceeding 9 points.
Rare Cards: Offering a bit more strength, these have 15-18 skill points, again with no single skill exceeding 9 points.
Legendary Cards: The most potent, with 18-21 skill points, maintaining the limit of 9 points per individual skill.

Skill Point Distribution: The allocation of points among the skills is random within the defined ranges, adding an element of unpredictability and requiring players to adapt their strategies based on the cards they have.
Stadium Card Utilization
Strategic Deployment: Players need to be thoughtful about which cards they choose to enter into the Arenas. Decisions based on the skills and rarity of the cards can significantly influence the outcome of battles.
Participating in a Stadium Arena in 5TARS is a unique experience that combines your strategic acumen with your collection prowess. Hereβs a detailed guide on how to enter and what to expect:
Before considering entry, ensure you have at least 3 Stadium Cards. These cards are essential for participation and form the basis of your strategy.
When selecting your 3 Cards, consider not just their individual strength but also how they complement each other. The combination of skills across your chosen cards can create synergies or cover weaknesses.
Accessing the Arena: Navigate to the Stadium Arena section within the 5TARS platform. This is typically straightforward and can be found on the main menu.
Entry Process: Once in the Arena section, youβll be prompted to select your 3-5 Stadium Cards for the upcoming battle. This selection is crucial as it sets the foundation for your strategy in the tournament.
Joining Tournaments: Stadium Arenas operate on a tournament basis. You can join these tournaments, which are held regularly, often on a daily basis.
Tournament Mechanics: Upon entering a tournament, youβll be matched against other players in different Cohorts within the Arena. The specifics of these matchups depend on the tournamentβs structure, which can vary depending on the size of the Arena.
Matchmaking: The game will pair you with opponents. This matchmaking is totally random.
Dynamic Tournament Slots: In the event of an uneven number of participants or a vacant slot in the tournament bracket, the player matched against this open space will automatically advance to the next phase, ensuring the tournament progresses smoothly.
Tournament Phases: Tournaments may have different phases, like Round of 16, Semifinals, etc. Understanding the structure helps in planning your strategy for each phase.
COMBAT
Initiating Combat
Combat Overview: Once the tournament starts and you are matched with an opponent, the combat phase begins. This is where your selected Stadium cards face off against your opponentβs cards.
Card Matchups: In each round of combat, your Stadium cards are pitted against the corresponding cards of your opponent, based on the order you have arranged them.
Understanding Combat Mechanics
Skill-Based Matchups: Each matchup between cards is determined by comparing the five skills (Capacity, Technology, Accessibility, History, and Atmosphere) of the respective Stadium cards.
Winning a Matchup: The card with the higher value in a particular skill wins that matchup. For example, if your card has a higher 'Technology' skill than your opponentβs, you win that particular matchup.
Tie Situations: In cases where the skills are equal, the result is a tie for that particular skill matchup.
Overall Victory: The card that wins the majority of the five skill matchups is declared the winner of that round.
Example
Player 1: 1vs3, 5vs4, 3vs2, 2vs2, 2vs4
Player 1 wins 2 match-ups (2 and 3); Player 2 wins 2 match-ups (1 and 5).
Player 1's total difference: -2 (match-up 1) +1 (match-up 2) +1 (match-up 3) +0 (match-up 4) -2 (match-up 5) = -2. Player 2 wins the battle between these cards.
Scoring in Combat
Point System: Each victory in a skill matchup earns a point. The total number of points a card earns determines its success in that round of combat.
Tiebreakers: In the event of a tie in total points, various factors like the difference in skill point victories or the order of tournament application can decide the outcome.
Advancing Through Rounds in Stadium Arenas
Progressing through the rounds in Stadium Arenas is a dynamic process that requires not just initial preparation but continuous adaptation. Hereβs a deeper look into how to navigate through the various stages of the tournament:
Post-Round Adjustments: After each round, you have the opportunity to rearrange the order (not changing for new Cards) of your Stadium cards. This is a critical strategic decision.
Adapting to Opponents: Based on your observations of an upcoming opponentβs strategy, adjust your card order to counter their strengths or exploit their weaknesses.
