πŸ’―Prediction Points

Learn how the Prediction Points Work

You can earn points based on the accuracy of your predictions, these are known as Prediction Points. At the end of each match, you'll be able to see how many Prediction Points you've earned.

How Prediction Points Are Calculated

The Prediction Points are determined as follows:

Predict The Score

  • For an accurate score prediction, you’ll earn a maximum of 30 points, with a penalty of -50% per goal that is further from the final result.

For example: If the game ends in a 1-1 score, and your prediction was 2-1, you'll receive a penalty of -50%, and you'll earn 15 points as a result.

Score 1X2

  • For an accurate winner prediction, you'll earn 10 extra points. 1 refers to a home win, X is the draw, and 2 is the away win.

For example: If your prediction was 2-1 and the home team wins 1-0, you will earn 10 extra points because your Score Prediction was that the home team would win.

Predict Possesion

  • For an accurate possession prediction, you’ll earn a maximum of 20 points, with a penalty of -10% per 1% that is further from the final result.

For example: If the final possession percentage was 53% - 47%, and your prediction was 56% - 44%, you'll earn 6 points.

Predict The First Striker

  • The maximum points for correctly predicting the First Goal is 20 points.

Note: If you've incorrectly predicted who will score the first goal, you'll earn 0 points. Note 2: If the first goal is an β€œown goal” it will not be taken into account. In this case, the second goal will be counted as the first.

Predict Yellow & Red Cards and Corners

  • For an accurate Corners prediction, you’ll earn a maximum of 20 points, with a penalty of -25% per corner that is further from the final result.

For example: If the final amount of Corners was 9, and you've predicted 7, you'll earn 10 points.

  • For an accurate prediction of Yellow Cards, you’ll earn a maximum of 20 points, with a penalty of 25% per card that is further from the final result.

For example: If the final amount of Yellow Cards was 6, and you've predicted 3, you'll earn 5 points.

  • For an accurate prediction of Red Cards, you’ll earn a maximum of 10 points, with a penalty of 50% per card that is further from the final result.

For example: If the final amount of Red Cards was 0, and you've predicted 1, you'll earn 5 points.

NOTES:

  1. If a player receives a yellow card, it counts towards a +1 in Yellow Card.

  2. If a player receives two yellow cards (resulting in his send-off), it counts towards a +1 Yellow Card and +1 Red Card.

  3. If they receive a direct red card, it counts towards a +1 Red Card only.
